Development Analyst

Dalfen Industrial is looking for an analyst to join its growing Development team. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the regional team and report to the VP of Development & Construction.

Position Responsibilities

• Support the due diligence process for projects under contract, including coordinating with external suppliers such as brokers, engineers, and contractors to support the due diligence process.
• Compile property and market specific reports to regional team
• Gather and assess critical information related to the sourcing and evaluation of potential development projects.
• Create investment memo including Argus files, sale and lease comparable tables, and DCF models
• Prospective new deal underwriting/modeling
• Update multiple metrics weekly including development pipeline, project cost summaries etc.

Skills & Experience

• Undergraduate degree from a top tier accredited institution
• 1-3 years of work experience (highly qualified undergraduates will be considered)
• Strong desire to work in development
• Highly motivated with strong work ethic
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a demanding work environment
• Detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Real estate specific coursework or work experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Argus, Costar and Real Capital Analytics preferred
