About The Role:

As a CBRE Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day activities for Advisory & Transaction Services in the Cleveland and Akron markets, including Office Services and Client Services (producer support). You'll partner closely with Business Operations (P&L), Human Resources, Digital & Technology, Research, Marketing, and Facilities.

This job is part of the Operations Management job function. They are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization's goals and strategies.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, business and professional licensing, real estate law, and state, and federal guidelines.
  • Maintain data integrity across systems used by the team.
  • Partner with regional teams and departments to identify and implement best practices.
  • Assist with the development of training programs, business processes, and system training programs.
  • Facilitate the communication of policies, procedures, and initiatives to create consistency across the region.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare ad hoc data reports for revenue, expenses, and other business metrics. Evaluate trends to improve financial performance. Coordinate the monthly forecasting process for assigned clients or regions.
  • Apply knowledge of how own field integrates with staff to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
