ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this position is to maintain the condition and appearance of grounds, plants and foliage for all assigned properties.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Daily checks for trash and debris; key areas cleaned, exterior trash cans serviced, and patio furniture sanitization and reset.
- Perform exterior lighting cleaning and inspections for proper operation, and performing general lighting maintenance.
- Wayfinding signage maintenance and inspections.
- Completing inspections of Q-Free parking lot guidance systems.
- Monitoring of parking garages and lots for trash and items returned to the proper locations (bikes, traffic cones etc.), clean up spills.
- Transports two-yard dumpsters to compactor stations to dump debris.
- Inspects debris and perform sorting as needed to assure waste is being recycled as much as possible, reporting issues to supervisors to address if needed.
- Maintains compactor areas, dumpsters and ensure equipment in good working order.
- Handles drop and pick up dumpsters as needed for building clean outs or move purges.
- Assisting with miscellaneous needs around campus including transportation team.
- Reports landscape damage to supervisor on a regular basis, as required .
- Conducts daily maintenance requirements on site.
- Assists supervisor with regular site inspections.
- Practices safe work habits.
- Other duties may be assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's license is required and must maintain a good driving record.
- Experience with operating small electronic equipment.
