Armenco Capitial is seeking qualified applicants for the Vice President of Acquisitions - Multi-Family with expertise in acquisition, securing funding, property management, construction, renovation, and project management.
Armenco Capital is a real estate investment and development firm focused on creating value through strategic acquisitions, asset management, and property development. We focus on multi-family residential properties and the ideal candidate is experienced and highly skilled Vice President of Acquisitions to join our team and driving growth in the multi-family value-add and development sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate desirable geographic areas for multi-family acquisitions, considering factors such as market trends, demographic data, and regional economic conditions.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition opportunities in targeted geographic areas, leveraging industry relationships, market knowledge, and research capabilities.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of targeted properties, including financial, operational, and market assessments, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for acquisitions.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models in Excel to support underwriting, property valuation, and investment decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to conduct due diligence, negotiate deal terms, and execute transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Source and secure financing for acquisitions, working closely with financial institutions, and other capital providers to structure optimal financing arrangements.
- Oversee the integration of acquired properties into the company's portfolio, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with overall strategic objectives.
- Implement and track capital projects and renovation programs to ensure successful execution.
- Candidate might assume 3rd party oversight or in-house construction guy would do that.
- Monitor and report on acquisition performance and market trends to inform future investment strategies and decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, brokers, and other stakeholders to enhance the company's deal flow and market presence.
- Contribute to the company's overall growth strategy and participate in the development of new business initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, with a specific focus on multi-family value-add and development.
- Proven track record of sourcing, underwriting, and closing complex real estate transactions.
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software tools.
- In-depth knowledge of multi-family property markets, including trends, demographics, and economic factors.
- Excellent negotiation and deal-making skills, with the ability to structure and close transactions that align with the company's objectives.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a strong focus on results and performance measurement.
