Description
Overview:
- Opportunity to work on a portfolio consisting of single-tenant industrial properties working directly for the owner.
Responsibilities:
- Bank account reconciliations and initiate cash transfers/wires for payments
- Monthly property accruals and amortization schedules
- Monthly property reports and supporting schedules
- Year-end accruals
- Review property general ledger accounts
- Communicate and collaborate with property management team regarding financial matters
- Prepare monthly management fee calculations
- Respond to requests and questions from portfolio finance teams
- On-board new property assignments
- Certify rent rolls and ensure rent payments are posted timely and accurately
- Maintaining multiple basis general ledgers for a portfolio of approx. 25+ assets
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5+ years’ experience required
- Property Mgmt. Real Estate experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to prioritize work and ensure accuracy of work.
