MSCI is a leading provider of real estate investment tools, delivering critical business intelligence to  and real estate owners, managers and brokers worldwide.  Our extensive suite of real estate products is unique in the industry, and is comprised of global market indexes, global market and portfolio performance analysis through  and , our market data engine which underpins our real estate offerings.


We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and consultative institutional sales Vice President to join our client coverage organization, to focus on growing MSCI's private real estate performance analytics and index data business.

 

We’ll trust you to:

 

  • Build revenue from MSCI's real estate index data and performance analytics (legacy IPD) 
  • Achieve targeted revenue goals in a high pressure sales environment
  • Work closely with other internal functions (business management unit, research, marketing, client service etc
  • Create and execute sales pipeline via Salesforce
  • Utilize a consultative sales process and strategic account planning
  • Answer detailed client inquiries about MSCI's real estate products and methodologies
  • Maintain accurate records regarding account visits, client conversations, finalized contracts, etc 
  • Provide internal feedback from clients to marketing, sales, research and product development groups

 

You’ll need to have:

 

  • 7-10 years consultative sales and relationship management experience with a proven record of accomplishment, gained in the real estate/financial service industry
  • Bachelor's degree required; masters degree and/or CFA charter holder preferred
  • Experience handling major international Investment Banks and other client types
  • Experience in private and global real estate, potentially with an emphasis on market data and analytics
  • Strong analytics, communication and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong sales closing skills and proven record for exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the year
