Continental Properties is looking for a driven and results-oriented individual to join our team of dedicated professionals as a Finance Director at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

This individual will identify opportunities to structure debt financing for new developments and stabilized property portfolio. Your main responsibilities will be to act as a conduit between the development teams and debt capital providers to secure the financing required for our multifamily, hospitality, and retail projects; while building strong relationships and communicating effectively with key stakeholders.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial leadership to development teams
  • Responsible for accuracy and presentation of financial underwriting and projections
  • Secure and structure debt financing for new construction and lead refinancing of existing assets
  • Successfully negotiate loan documents
  • Identify opportunities to enhance value of our stabilized portfolio and single assets
  • Present loan terms and financial matters to senior management and Investment Committee
  • Develop and nurture relationships with capital providers
  • Maintain understanding of current lender underwriting practices and capital market conditions
  • Support CFO & senior management in ad hoc analysis necessary for high level decision making

 

Skills Critical to Success:

  • Five to ten years of related real estate finance experience in a leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Finance required, MBA preferred
  • Personal drive and a passion for achieving higher results, even in the face of obstacles
  • Effectively communicate financial concepts internally to senior management and externally to industry professionals
  • Excellent relationship and people skills; gains the support and trust of others with ease
  • Ability to skillfully negotiate in tough situations while maintaining relationships with both external and internal parties 
  • Detail oriented and highly organized; ability to work on several projects simultaneously
