Job Title: Construction Project Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree (Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent work experience)
- 7 to 10 Years' Experience in Mid to High Rise Multi-Family Construction Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project (or similar scheduling software)
- Specific Experience in:
- Bid-Leveling
- MEP coordination process
- Overseeing shop drawing and submittal process
- Reviewing change order requests
- Pencil Requisition review process
- Maintaining trade cost data
- Budget and schedule management
- Producing Anticipated Cost Reports
- Tracking and reporting on Manpower Reports and quantities of work in place.
Preferences:
- Experience in block and plank construction practices
- Experience in cast in place high-rise construction practices
- Experience in New York City affordable housing projects Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing design and engineering process
- Sourcing cost data and maintaining hard cost estimates during preconstruction
- Evaluating constructability and cost implications of differing approaches
- On-site management of General Contractor and Subcontractors
- Tracking and recording of manpower and quantities of Work in place
- Reviewing and evaluating monthly hard-cost requisitions, schedule updates, and change order requests.
- Presiding over weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings
- Preparing weekly job-progress reports and monthly Anticipated Cost Reports Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supporting real estate development team with costing and scheduling exercises and estimates
- Supporting role in coordinating with New York City Agencies
- Other tasks as assigned
