Finance and Accounting Analyst

ML Realty Partners is looking for a candidate to provide analytical support for the Accounting & Finance Department who oversees the company’s current investment platform which is focused on the acquisition, development and portfolio management of the company’s industrial portfolio. This position will report directly to the Controller and the candidate should have a passion for numbers.  Our successful candidate will be a key member of the Accounting & Finance team whose responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Market Valuations
• Property IRR’s
• Monthly, quarterly, annual reporting and business planning
• Capital projections and forecasting
• Same store sales reporting and special projects as they arise
• Assist accounting staff with monthly financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and annual interim and year-end audits
• Metric and summary level forecasting on a monthly basis
• Assist in the preparation of investment summaries, financial models and underwriting for potential investments and developments

Qualifications:

• College Degree preferably in Real Estate Accounting or Finance
• Experience in real estate analytics, underwriting and/or valuations including ARGUS
• Strong quantitative and technical/computer skills
• Individual must be a highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and deliver a self-review of their work
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; flexible and adaptable
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, effectively manage time, meet deadlines while reporting milestones along the way and prioritizing multiple tasks
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
