As an Analyst or Senior Analyst at Hines, you will perform financial modeling, research and analytical support associated with land acquisitions and master-planned residential development projects and provide project managerial support for existing projects in the Denver market. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  
  • Perform financial analysis of acquisitions and development opportunities via financial modeling, analysis of cash flows and application of valuation methods using a combination of Argus and Excel software.
  • Assist with due diligence process associated with acquisitions by performing document control, due diligence, verifying projections or other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in the management of existing projects including market research, analyzing builder home sales data and administration of investor and banking requirements.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules for significant variances.
  • Prepare investment committee proposals for new projects under consideration including presentation materials and graphic requirements.
  • Serve as liaison and monitor the flow of information regarding the project interested parties including investors, bankers, contractors, architects and city personnel.
  • Participate in the management of development projects including feasibility analysis, entitlement processes, financing, design, lot closings, home owners associations, contracting, and construction management.
Minimum Requirements include:  
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Two or more years related experience in real estate or in a financial analysis role
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office software with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Aptitude to become proficient in Argus real estate modeling software
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills
