Description


 

Our client is a San Francisco-focused real estate development firm specializing in high-quality mixed-use residential development.  They are recognized for its uniquely collaborative approach to development, strong neighborhood support and proven commitment to place-making. This newly-created role will support a variety of functions, including Capital Markets & Acquisitions and Development Management. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze and report on existing Joint Ventures with investor partners. o Create and work with complex financial models and sensitivities for underwriting development, joint venture and investment opportunities. Understanding of GP/LP IRR waterfalls is useful. 
  • Develop reporting and project tracking tools. 
  • Read, understand, analyze and make recommendations on asset level business plans
  • Perform financial analysis and due diligence for new investment opportunities/RFPs. 
  • Conduct research and analysis of local market impacting prospective development and investment opportunities. 
  • Create investor materials for existing investments and planned capital raises. 
  • Assist with a variety of aspects of a development, including acquisition, financing, entitlement, government approvals, design, construction, leasing and marketing. 
  • Special and ad hoc projects. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Current resident of SF or N California.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills. 
  • Expert user of Excel/PowerPoint with demonstrable modeling experience. 
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment. 
  • Motivated to learn about real estate development, with an emphasis on multifamily and creative office properties. 
  • Self-starter with attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to prioritize several projects simultaneously with
