The Opportunity 
 
A top performing team at Christie’s International Real Estate Group, Inc. is an industry leading group specialized in new development advisory, marketing and sales, and in the resale of architecturally significant properties across New York City. The team is domiciled directly within Christie’s, the auction house, and launched the real estate brokerage with Christie’s International Real Estate just this past February. Christie’s is a name and place that speaks of extraordinary art, unparalleled service and expertise, as well as international glamour, offering sales in over 80 categories, including all areas of fine and decorative arts, jewelry, photographs, collectibles, wine, and now – real estate. 


The Role 

The Team is recruiting an On-Site Sales Coordinator for an upcoming ground up new development that will be one of the most important projects to ever be built in Manhattan. The Coordinator will be an employee of the project, and working directly on the team reporting into the new development’s project manager and in turn the sponsor/developer. Successful candidates will be self-managing, highly attentive to detail and with impeccable customer service skills. They are expected to directly support the Sales Director, Sponsor and applicable outside vendors to meet or exceed the company’s targets and quality standards. As part of the on-site sales team, the Coordinator acts as a key liaison and brand ambassador for the project and the Team withing the larger brokerage community, prospective purchasers and new residents. 



Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to 

• Inputting actual and prospective client data, and running analytics for reporting 
• Maintaining accurate reports relating to pricing, traffic, contact lists, client registrations, offers, inquiries, demographics, etc. 
• Conducting ongoing market specific studies and research, and making recommendations for the Sales Director based on market conditions 
• Serve as first line at the project, responding to phone and email inquiries and booking and confirming appointments, providing meaningful follow up, ongoing engagement and support for all client and client-broker inquiries. 
•Directly support the Sales Director in facilitating sales transactions on behalf of the Sponsor,including compiling deal sheets, transmitting offering plans and assembling marketing and follow-up collateral.
•Assist with all miscellaneous coordination tasks including but not limited to sales gallery and model unit upkeep, event planning with outside vendors and production companies, and coordination with Christie’s and Christie’s International Real Estate


The Candidate 

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
•Impeccable presentation and communication skills in person, verbally and via telephone and in email communication
•Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in real estate brokerage, specifically with experience as a salesperson with administrative duties who has been a part of a successful team. Or comparable sales support in another luxury vertical.
•Must have and maintain a valid NYS RE License or ability to procure one
•Knowledge of general workflow and processes for the marketing and sales of residential and mixed use new development projects, or similar experience.
•Must possess strong strategic, analytical and interpersonal skills
•Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without losing sight of project goals
•Must be a collaborative team player, capable of receiving direction, balancing efforts to maximize results.
•Experienced in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
•Experience living or working abroad highly valued
•Experience with event planning and production valued
•Customer facing luxury and hospitality experience highly valued
•Fluency in a second language highly valued particularly Mandarin, Arabic, Italian, French or Hebrew.
•Familiarity with Offering Plans, general regulatory policies and procedures as they pertain to the sale of real estate, as well as all NYS DOS policies, standards, rules and regulations all a plus.
