We are headquartered in New York City with major real estate operations in the Atlanta, San Diego, Chicago and Philadelphia markets, and our Accounting Group is in Philadelphia.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the CFO and Executive team with quarterly earnings analyses, primarily including the firm’s Corporate Model and Same Property NOI growth forecast.  Responsibilities include: 

  • Update and manage the Corporate Model for the quarterly forecasting process and ad-hoc analysis including for acquisitions, dispositions, capital transactions, and other projections / items as needed
  • Lead the quarterly reforecasting process by managing the process and working cross functionally with all departments to aggregate information in various internal systems and provide analytical support to those departments, including compiling regional reports and reconciliations as part of the process
  • Assist in the continued development of budgeting and financial forecasting tools and processes
  • Collaborate with all departments to explain variances in forecasted P&L components
  • Analyze detailed financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial overview to CFO and Executive Management Team for decision making purposes (annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts)
  • Support CFO and Executive Management Team with ad-hoc analytical reports

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required -- Finance or Accounting major preferred. Other majors / concentrations acceptable if prior work experience is directly relevant to the role
  • Preferred background in audit, banking, and/or real estate
  • Approximately one to four years’ experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, prior experience with financial modeling preferred
  • ARGUS knowledge a plus
  • Intellectually curious and self-motivated
  • Interested in the commercial real estate industry and the operational drivers of the business
