Description:
We are seeking a highly-driven individual for this newly created executive CRE position to work out of our regional office in Richmond, VA. As Senior Vice President you will be a member of the senior executive team and will work side by side with the best and most dedicated leaders in the industry.
The SVP will have bottom-line responsibility for the company’s mid-Atlantic region. He / she will manage a team of property professionals, provide strategic leadership, and will actively engage in expanding the company’s owned and third-party management business by creating new and expanding existing relationships with family offices, regional and national property owners, and institutional property owners.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Drives and is responsible for the profitability / P&L performance of the region;
- Source new third-party business as well as investment (acquisition / JV) opportunities;
- Build business relationships by networking and active involvement in industry organizations;
- Manage client / partner relationships in region;
- Provide leadership and direction for all property staff in region;
- Create a fun, engaging and motivating environment for direct report staff;
- Direct on-boarding of new properties within region;
- Ensure compliance with company standards and client / partner property agreements, including reporting obligations;
- Direct annual business plan and property budgeting for region.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of senior level CRE experience with knowledge of asset classes;
- Undergraduate Degree;
- Outstanding leadership skills with a natural ability to manage, develop and motivate staff;
- Strong network of commercial real estate relationships and a proven ability and desire to source new third-party management as well as acquisition opportunities;
- Strong relationship management skills;
- High level business acumen with ability to think and act strategically; plan for the long-term while balancing the short-term needs of the company;
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
- Positive, team first approach that reflects company culture;
- Ability to travel as needed;
