We are seeking a talented Senior Project Analyst to join our Development Services team in Cleveland! This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day processes for all real estate development projects at Brookfield Properties. This includes milestone planning & scheduling, the design review stage gate process, and the development to operations turnover process. This position will manage the collection and distribution of actionable project information resulting from the major review processes and will assist the Director of Operational Excellence in project risk identification & mitigation. We are focused on creating opportunities for our team members to grow and develop from within! The Senior Project Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Leads Design Review Stage Gate process for the Project Developer & Development Services.
- Collaborates with teams on risk identification and development of appropriate mitigation plans while managing project milestones against established schedule.
- Tracks design issues and decision points; uses project information to develop & distribute reports at regularly scheduled intervals.
- Manages all relevant project management/collaboration tools & software for the entire Mixed-use Development group; Partners with the Director of Operational Excellence to ensure tools are providing intended value and recommends updates to software, processes, and reporting as relevant.
- Works with senior leadership to establish milestone planning and schedule framework for each project in preconstruction.
- Manages the Design Review Process for each project using Bluebeam Revu; provides training to internal associates and external parties on Brookfield s Design Review process as needed.
- Supports project developers in onboarding architects/consultants and coordinates with internal employees to procure software licenses as needed.
- Assists Development offices with developing responsibility matrix, defining decision points, and communicating expectations across Development Services and other internal departments
- Tracks Development to Operations turnover process and coordinates with construction, operations, and central service teams as required.
- Assists the Director of Operational Excellence in managing the portfolio-wide project schedule, preparation of meeting materials, analyses, and key performance metrics.
- 3-5 years of experience in portfolio-level project management; Experience managing projects in construction, real estate, or architecture industry is preferred.
- Bachelor s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
- Understanding of financial modeling
- Willingness to travel to regional offices and/or project sites
- Proficient with project management software such as MS Project; Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience implementing collaboration/project management software, tools, and processes across a large organization is a plus!
