Estimator

Position Summary

China overseas America is currently seeking for an Estimator with 6 Years+ experience in budgeting/estimating residential as well as core and shell projects. The Estimator is responsible for the review and negotiation of change orders.

Job Description

• Manage the Entire Change order process inclusive of preparation of detailed Change order reviews and estimates to assure accurate and proper pricing; negotiate CO’s on behalf of COA.
• Oversea CM’s procurement, coordinate bid process and attend bid meetings, analyze proposals/bids and make recommendation.
• In charge of procurement of Contractor and Consultants, duties include the preparation of bidder list, bid documents, reviewing and leveling bids, de scoping bids, price negotiation, preparation of contract, etc.
• In charge of payment review and Have ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Administration, or equivalent related work experience Minimum of 6 or more years estimating or procurement experience on construction projects Knowledge of industry standard construction means and methods, Knowledge of NYC/NJ subcontractor base. Understands building systems, materials, design, construction and related management strategies. Communicate effectively and professionally with internal peers and executives, as well as CM, Architect and Engineers at all levels.
