CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Envoy Net Lease Partners is seeking a senior-level member to join our small but rapidly growing business and team. This individual’s primary responsibility will be to take commercial real estate transactions from “term sheet to closing” as well as implementation of other major business decisions.

Envoy Net Lease Partners is a fast-growing capital source in the real estate net lease industry, a $4 trillion market. Based in greater Chicago, Envoy provides up to 100% financing in the form of high leverage construction and bridge loans, ground lease loans, traditional and reversible sale/leaseback financing, and JV equity financing to developers and owners of net lease properties nationwide. Formed in 2011, Envoy has successfully financed 50 projects totaling over $125M in project costs. Over the next several years, Envoy will significantly grow its development finance and sale/leaseback platforms.

We are seeking a hands-on, self-starting individual, comfortable working in a small company environment, that is looking for an opportunity to manage their own destiny. This person will report directly to Envoy’s President and CEO as well as being point person to our directors, investors and lenders and coordinate staff, legal and accounting services.

This individual will be responsible for the following:

Negotiating and reviewing purchase contracts • Negotiating and reviewing leases • Negotiating and reviewing loan documents • Negotiating and reviewing development-related agreements • Negotiating and reviewing joint venture and partnership documents • Overseeing the preparation of private placement memorandums and related documents • Managing the closing process on behalf of the Company • Overseeing the asset management of the Company’s loan and property portfolio • Overseeing the property sales process including the selection of brokerage firms • And other tasks assigned by the President and CEO.

As member of senior management, this individual will assist with:

The financial management of the company • Investor relations and fundraising • Strategic planning • Management of corporate governance issues.

Successful candidates will have:

Knowledge of commercial real estate development finance and mortgage lending is required • Working knowledge of joint venture structures • Prior experience as a project manager, construction lender or CRE attorney • Experience working with lenders and passive ownership vehicles • Legal, Finance or Accounting background is preferred • Understanding of the net lease industry a plus • Experience in a small company environment • A “whatever it takes” attitude is required.

Compensation is in the form of a base salary and benefits, with opportunities for a year-end bonus and possible future equity and profit participation after a vesting period.

Envoy’s office is located in downtown Northbrook, Illinois, next to the METRA Milwaukee North train station.
