JOB SUMMARY:
This position will provide analytical support to assigned regional Asset Management Department. The analyst will assist the asset manager in implementing the strategies of the company through a “hands on” approach and support the management of the leasing, financial and operational activities of each asset. Timely and accurate work is necessary to effectively manage the assets. Excellent communication, creative thinking and problem-solving skills are vital to the successful execution of this position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support the development of property budgets, business plans, and marketing plans which are updated annually.
- Prepare and update on a quarterly basis property Argus models.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial reports to investors.
- Analyze prospective lease transactions and have working knowledge of commercial leasing process.
- Track capital expenditures and lender draw requests.
- Assist in preparation of financial reporting to lenders in compliance with loan documents.
- Periodic site visit to track improvements made or diminution of appearance as well as tour of the competing properties.
- Assist Acquisitions/Dispositions teams during due diligence and underwriting.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must meet the following:
- BA or BS in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance or Real Estate, MBA Preferred.
- Minimum of two years financial analyst experience required.
- Two years Commercial Real Estate Experience Preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess strong computer skills, preferably using MS Excel, Word, and Access
- Working knowledge of ARGUS
- Strong interpersonal skills
