Job Title: Leasing Manager Job Purpose: Execute strategic business development plan while managing Leasing Agents by assisting with executing deals; generating tenant leads; training and mentoring staff. The Leasing Manager will be also responsible for being the subject matter expert on trends and market conditions relative to assigned territory. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a client base that generates a sustainable number of referrals and leads that produces income for team and the company
- Manage the execution of the policies and procedures surrounding the day to day functions of the commercial leasing department as determined by the CEO
- Create and manage the implementation of a business development plan for growth
- Acquire new brokerage relationships or tenants through direct contact, cold calling, and business-to-business marketing plans
- Review and approve leasing forms including: Intent, Leases, Lease Abstract, Commission Agreements, Tenant Representation Agreements, Co-Broker Agreements, Referral Agreements, Listing Agreements, and other related Leasing Documents
- Conduct local and sub-market analysis for existing inventory and competitive properties to ensure marketing and competitive pricing with regards to market rent, tenant improvements, rental abatement, etc.
- Compile and present monthly leasing activity reports for all properties for the Leasing Committee
- Represent Hartman in community events, broker events other networking as necessary
- Collaborate with property managers to enhance tenant retention, facilitate lease up and enhance new tenant satisfaction through the move in process
- Motivated team player willing to work in a close-knit environment and exchange information between other members of the staff
- 10 plus years of successful Commercial Real Estate experience focused on Landlord Representation and lease execution
- 5 years of Team Leadership and Management experience
- Bachelor of Business or Commercial Real Estate from accredited university
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability
- Servant-leadership ability with a passion for mentoring others for professional development
