Fitch Ratings is adding a new Associate Director level Credit Analyst to support its growing North American Commercial Real Estate New Deal team. 
 

Fitch Ratings is seeking to add a highly motivated, detail-oriented commercial real estate finance professional to lead the analysis of newly issued commercial mortgage-backed securities.  Candidates will analyze the credit risk of commercial real estate loans backed by all major property types including office, retail, multifamily and hotel, in all geographic markets throughout the U.S.    Loan sizes range from <$1 million to >$200 million, backed by a range of sponsors from local developers to large multi-national organizations.  Successful candidates will analyze and develop credit opinions on CMBS transactions and communicate such credit opinions to large institutional lenders and a broad range of institutional investors.  Travel throughout the U.S. is required.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Underwriting and modeling property, loan and issuer information 
  • Performing market analysis 
  • Reviewing property-level cash flows 
  • Presenting conclusions to credit committee and writing transaction reports 

 

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree and a strong academic record. 
  • Motivated individual that demonstrates attention to detail, with strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively. 
  • Computer proficient in Excel and Word. 
  • 3-7 years of experience in Structured Finance, Real Estate or Mortgage-Backed Securities is required.
