JOB DESCRIPTION

Tramview Capital Management seeks an experienced professional to help spearhead the firm’s Investor Relations initiatives. The Associate/Vice President (depending on experience) will be responsible for supporting existing and prospective investor relationships, including due diligence, prospecting, marketing, closing, and ongoing client communication and reporting. The ideal candidate is pro-active, detail-oriented, and has outstanding communication and personal skills, with a solid understanding of real estate fundamentals.


COMPANY OVERVIEW

Tramview Capital Management (“Tramview”) is a value-oriented real estate investment management firm focused on investing in institutional quality real estate in targeted growth markets across the U.S. Tramview was formed in 2020 and is currently investing its second comingled fund. Tramview leadership has overseen and managed in excess of $5 billion of equity invested globally across all property types and throughout the capital stack on behalf of institutional and high net worth clients. Tramview is focused on generating strong, risk-adjusted returns by investing in properties at an attractive and defensible basis in targeted markets and in sectors with compelling long-term fundamentals and proven liquidity.  Tramview seeks to acquire well-located properties that have multiple levers to enhance income through value-add initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Investor Relations Associate/Vice President will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with both existing and prospective institutional and high net-worth investors. This individual will support Tramview’s entire investor relationship cycle, including prospecting, due diligence, on-boarding, and ongoing client communications and reporting. The Associate/Vice President will be expected to:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with high net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors (e.g., pension funds, endowments, foundations, etc.) by providing exceptional quality client service and communication.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Tramview’s funds and investment strategies, the competitive landscape, and the broader real estate investment industry.
  • Broaden awareness and interest in Tramview through a combination in-person and virtual meetings, email correspondence, and attendance at select conferences.
  • Lead the planning and execution of investor meetings and marketing events.
  • Track and diligently maintain investor communication records/documentation in Tramview’s investor relations databases and stay up to date on CRM and investor portal solutions. Create summary reports for senior management as requested.
  • Work with Tramview executive team to prepare content including press releases, presentations, marketing decks, and other for current and prospective investors. Contribute to quarterly investor reporting and newsletters as applicable.
  • Prepare and respond to RFPs, DDQs, and related due diligence requests, working collaboratively with the investment, accounting, and finance teams to develop approved diligence and marketing materials and respond to various investor inquiries and requests.
  • Assist in drafting and updating private placement memorandums and other materials for new fund and co-investment offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and protocols applicable to investor relations and corporate communications.
  • Work with Tramview executive team and third parties as applicable to manage, update, and maintain content on the Tramview Capital Management website.
  • Other related responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant investor relations/real estate investment management experience.
  • Knowledge of real estate investments and experience researching industry trends.
  • Familiarity with fund documents, including PPMs, subscription documents, and limited partnership agreements.
  • Personable individual with a friendly, professional demeanor and approach, along with the ability to effectively network and establish new relationships. Strong existing network of investor relationships is a plus.
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present information to existing and prospective clients and internal company management. Strong research and writing skills, along with associated editing acumen.
  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter who has a strong work ethic and works well individually and collaboratively as a part of a team. Excellent judgement and integrity are critical.
  • Thrives in hands-on, fast paced environment, exhibiting poise and ability to multitask and proficiently manage numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, including experience creating investor/marketing presentations.  
  • Experience with CRM databases (e.g., SalesForce) preferred.
  • Superior organizational skills with outstanding time and project management abilities, with strong follow-up discipline.
  • Undergraduate degree from top tier university with track record of success.

TRAVEL:  Must be able to travel to meet with existing and prospective clients, attend conferences, and other related activities.
