Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (the “Company”), a subsidiary of Marcus & Millichap, Inc. (NYSE:MMI) is seeking a Managing Director to join a team of capital markets advisors located in Dallas, TX. The candidate will manage the team’s robust pipeline, oversee and develop the analytical and closing support team, and delegate new opportunities to the appropriate team members. The candidate will ensure all transactions are processed timely and effectively from engagement through closing. The candidate will act as a liaison between clients and capital sources. The candidate will also oversee financial modeling, the production of high-quality offering memoranda and marketing materials and the delivery of detailed market analysis to secure debt and equity financing for commercial real estate developers, investors, and owners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage pipeline for originators, analysts, and processors.
  • Organize and implement an efficient client management and execution team selection process to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
  • Manage relationships with all transaction parties, including clients, brokers, title companies, lenders, surveyors, and/or governmental agencies.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with internal investment sales agents.
  • Provide leadership and handle all day-to-day managerial responsibilities.
KEY ATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate with a focus in underwriting and capital markets.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Ability to recruit, motivate, develop, and retain staff.
  • Demonstrated record of success in managing a transaction through underwriting and closing.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the personal style to successfully act as a positive catalyst for change.
  • Strategic, creative thinker with a track record of creating and developing both client centric and internal relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both intern and external parties.
  • Ability to handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and aptitude for learning various other programs.
  • Well-rounded professional with high personal values, exceptional judgment, and discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
