JOB OVERVIEW
The Director of Renewable Energy Business Development is responsible for developing the sales strategy to grow Twain’s Renewable Energy business platform, including expanding the existing client base. This position will require active prospecting and the achievement of activity and revenue
targets. As with all leadership positions, this role is a hands-on position. You must be comfortable with developing strategy while at the same time managing tactical execution, and everything in between.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with executive leadership to evaluate and develop strategic initiatives to increase revenues
- Participate in the development of corporate strategy. Set objectives and identify methods for reaching those goals
- Manage a team of business development officers
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies on how to market, sell, deliver, and grow existing and new clients
- Participate in budgetary planning relative to investment goals
- Travel as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of prior industry experience
- 2+ years of Business Development experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) and Adobe Acrobat
