Description
Venable LLP’s Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced real estate paralegal with a minimum of two years of experience to join the practice in the Washington, D.C., Tysons, or Baltimore office.
The qualified candidate is experienced in reviewing and analyzing commercial real estate due diligence including title, survey, zoning, organizational documents and resolutions, and UCC/litigation searches; drafting estoppel certificates and SNDAs; abstracting complex recorded title documents such as ground leases, CCRs, and easements; and managing, coordinating, and tracking closing and post-closing documents. The successful candidate is detail-oriented; is comfortable interfacing directly with title companies, surveyors, and opposing counsel; works well independently; has polished written and verbal communication skills; and excels at managing deadlines and multiple work streams. Proficient/advanced knowledge of Office Suite preferred.
