BSR Properties is a Katy, TX-based comprehensive developer with over twelve years’ experience in Custom Real Estate Development, Design/Construction, Land Acquisition/Entitlement and Property Management.  BSR Properties specializes in three verticals – single-family home developments, acreage ranchette communities and developing/owning/managing single and multi-family home rental properties.

We are currently seeking a seasoned professional to assume the position of Company President to help take the company to the next level.  The founder has grown the company into a successful, multi-faceted business, with several distinct revenue streams.  This new position will lead the team in all sourcing, initiating, coordinating and implementing all aspects of construction, development, land acquisition and property management.  He/she will play a key role in the vision, strategy and organizational development of the company.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction for all aspects of the company.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company.
  • Oversee all land acquisitions, design of new communities, construction projects, sales of new construction homes and management of all rental properties.
  • Lead and initiate evaluation of potential project sites and properties.
  • Lead all aspects of new community planning and construction.
  • Oversee feasibility and financial analysis to implement processes and systems that will generate higher revenues and productivity.
  • Lead procurement operations and oversee negotiations with vendors and suppliers to obtain products/services at the best cost and ensure end-users needs are met.
  • Oversee design and construction to ensure budgets and timelines are met.
  • Manage relationships related to land use with local governments and construction vendors and maintain productive relationships with internal/external customers.
  • Establish and monitor project budgets, timelines and cash flow projections.
  • Work closely with the CEO to craft and implement the company’s vision and objectives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of twenty years’ experience in real estate development, construction, land acquisitions and related financials, with at least seven years at the Senior Management level.
  • Strong networking skills; comfortable and confident leveraging existing relationships and forging new relationships to source off-market opportunities.
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage and support personnel at all levels.

Compensation Package
