OFFICE INVESTMENT SALES – ASSOCIATE

Southern California (Santa Monica or Newport Beach)

Our team is dedicated to the sale, financing, and recapitalization of all major real estate product types including office, retail, hospitality, industrial, and multifamily properties throughout North America and Europe, as well as a varied array of emerging asset classes.

 

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Associate to join our Southern California Office Investment Sales Team in either Santa Monica or Newport Beach. Candidates should have 2-5 years of relevant industry experience, or an MBA or Master’s degree from a highly ranked program, in a relevant subject. As an ES Associate, you will be afforded new challenges with the opportunity to work within a team that is dedicated to commercial office investment sales, allowing you to develop an expertise in the discipline. This position involves a significant role in business transactions including client and investor communication, supervision of analysts and the underwriting process, and continued hands on training.

 

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Working closely with senior team members on transaction execution, presentations, collaboration with clients, and oversight of financial underwriting
  • Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis
  • Financial underwriting, due diligence review and transaction execution
  • Preparing pitches, presentations, and other materials for clients
  • Regularly participating in client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior-level decision makers

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills.

  • 2-5 years of commercial real estate experience
  • BS/BA degree or higher
  • Dedication to building a career in financial services with a focus on real estate finance
  • Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, focused, and collaborative team environment
  • Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality work under tight time frames
  • Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills
  • Strong ARGUS, financial analysis and excel modeling skills

  • Eastdil Secured requires each deal team professional to be licensed as a real estate salesperson

 

Eastdil Secured will not sponsor visas for these positions, and will not hire individuals whose work eligibility
