We are currently seeking a Technology Sales Advisor to educate and enable sellers in Americas Markets to bring all JLLT’s technologies to the conversation with clients to win more business and differentiate through innovative approaches.  As a Technology Sales Advisory, you will serve as an expert in JLL’s technology and data products and present a holistic suite of solutions to clients, collect client feedback and inform training materials, positioning and marketing of products. This opportunity involves both training sellers on the functionality and value of JLL’s technology and directly supporting pitches and/or RFP pursuits.

The mission of JLLT is to leverage technology to increase the value and liquidity of the world’s buildings, while enhancing the productivity and happiness of those that occupy them. By joining our team, you will drive this mission forward and be required to effectively collaborate with diverse teams across the organization. Key partners will include JLL’s Sales Enablement, Business Development, Product Development, Marketing and Operations teams. The Technology Sales Advisor will be tasked with assisting in the development of RFP responses and/or pitch content including technical responses, discovery questions, solution design, example deliverables, system graphics, presentations and/or pricing across JLLT product teams. The candidate will also serve as a trainer and advocate for JLLT’s solutions to internal clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate understands real estate fundamentals including supply and demand dynamics and can align changes in the market to technology solutions. Knowledge of the competitive PropTech landscape is strongly preferred.  You must be professional, organized and motivated as well as have the drive to succeed in a dynamic, high impact sales environment. 

 

What This Job Involves

As a Technology Sales Advisor, you must be comfortable presenting to high-level decision makers, demonstrating key functions of our technology applications, and collaborating with sales team, delivery teams, and product management teams. Responsibilities include:
 

  • Primary contact for sales teams within local market for all things related to JLLT.
  • Educate JLL’s sales teams on how to create a digitally immersive buying experience for our clients/prospects.
  • Directly articulate a tech enabled sales story to external clients/prospects.  
  • Act as tech sales engineer in client meetings and sales presentations by asking diagnostic questions and identifying tech solutions.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of technology across JLL’s core business lines.
  • Generate demand and pipeline for key tech products.
  • Partner with the product teams to ensure value propositions of technologies are communicated consistently.
  • Demonstrate multiple technology solutions spanning the entire real estate life cycle from lease administration, transaction management, project management, utilization technologies, employee and building experience platforms.
  • Assist in the development of RFP responses and pursuit content recommendations.
  • Partner closely with Sales Enablement teams on client presentations by preparing key deliverables with data, stories and research.
  • Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape across technology and competitors.

  • Subject Matter Expertise in the business domains of the assigned business line are REQUIRED.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is REQUIRED; Business or Marketing PREFERED.
  • 5+ years of relevant/professional experience such as technology sales, management consulting, or commercial real estate is REQUIRED.
  • You will be a passionate, accountable, creative, and team-oriented contributor to help achieve our business objectives.
  • You demonstrate the ability to think creatively, sell consultatively, proactively problem solve and efficiently communicate internally and externally.
  • You can translate client requests to make impactful recommendations that meet client needs and business objectives.
  • You can tell a story that eloquently translates data, simplifies complex information and clearly articulates technology as a seamless part of sales and client service delivery.
  • You have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills and are eager to further refine and develop these skills.
  • You are a highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, analytical and project management skills, and can work independently and collaboratively within a team-focused organization.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline and detailed oriented environment, with the ability to prioritize workloads.
