Position:
Kairos Investment Management Company is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join our Investor Relations Team. Your role will be largely focused on on-boarding new investors, distributing investor communications and reports, and attending to ad-hoc requests from investors, RIAs, and custodians. This role requires a process oriented and highly driven team-player with a positive and proactive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Investor Relations.
Job Essentials:
- Play a key role in the subscription/investor onboarding process and manage pipeline of new investors for each fund closing
- Prescreen and organize subscription documents and KYC requirements for legal review, and follow through until receipt of funds and execution of documents
- Monitor and respond to inquiries received via the investor relations email inbox
- Assist in responding to ad-hoc requests in a timely manner from investors, registered investment advisors, custodians and internal staff
- Manage and maintain CRM system (Juniper Square) to ensure complete and consistent investor information
- Thorough organization and upkeep of investor portal
- Manage investor communications and distribute via investor portal capital account statements, capital calls, distribution notices, tax documents, quarterly reports, annual disclosures
- Support new business development and fundraising efforts
- Assist in event coordination for current and potential investors, including planning and set up, initial outreach, follow-up, coordinating schedules, event management, and gifts
- Maintain company’s website and social media pages with relevant updates
- Develop an understanding of how investors and wealth mangers operate to better service them
Qualifiers:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration, finance or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience at an investment management, asset management, wealth management, investment consulting, or financial services firm
- Experience with Juniper Square is beneficial to the role
- In-office position
