POSITION AT A GLANCE: 

Execute the Investment Team’s strategy of investing in experience-based real estate. 

HOW DOES THIS POSITION CONTRIBUTE TO EPR?  

Partner with EPR Leadership to invest in experiential real estate through sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing of new transactions. This position will directly impact EPR's growth and sustainability.

1. Relationship Building

• Build new relationships with potential partners, sellers, and brokers in target industries
• Maintain and build existing relationships to establish EPR as a preferred capital partner
• Be lead contact for partners and sellers on transactions

2. Transaction Sourcing

• Generate outside leads in accordance with in-place strategy
• Leverage networks to gain access to new transactions
• Negotiate initial term sheets for acquisitions and dispositions

3. Transaction Evaluation & Approval. Collaborate with analyst support to:

• Oversee diligence, closing, and underwriting efforts
• Summarize and present investment opportunities for internal decision making
• Summarize and present investments opportunities for Investment Committee and/or Board approval

4. Transaction Closing

• Support legal documentation in collaboration with internal and external counsel
• Support transaction closing in collaboration with legal team
• Support issue resolution with counterparties as they arise

5. Internal Communication

• Communicate deal pipeline and closing to internal accounting/finance teams
• Ensure new deal terms conform with Management’s expectations

6. Asset Management

• Support property management activities within EPR’s portfolio including dispositions and restructurings

IF YOU MEET THE BELOW CRITERIA AND ARE EXCITED TO JOIN OUR TEAM, LETS TALK! 

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent); Finance, management or related field preferable
• Strong oral and written communication skills required
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in commercial real estate or M&A transactions, including origination, underwriting and/or closing
• Strong financial underwriting and analysis skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Required travel 50-70 days per year on average
