Your main priorities include:

  • Budget forecasting, preparation, review, and compliance.
  • Oversee, train and mentor regional manager team.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled one-on-one meetings with reporting team members.
  • Exude and oversee code of conduct and reputation management in line with Scully Company’s core values and guiding principles.
  • Design and implement a plan of action to improve/maximize the performance of the properties in the portfolio.
  • Maintain a strong rapport with owners, vendors, managers, and employees.
  • Develop and implement new and revised standard operating processes and procedures.
  • Assist with new acquisitions and developing new business.
  • Monitor achievement of each property.
  • Achieve the highest possible Net Operating Income (NOI) through the implementation of effective cost control, revenue maximization and delinquency management plans.
  • Identify long-term property goals and objectives and be responsive to owners' needs, goals, and objectives.
  • Monitor achievement of each property against financial objectives utilizing a reporting system that includes the review of monthly financial reports, bi-weekly inspections, and weekly operating reports.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments including Project Management, Legal, Compliance and Maintenance.
  • Visit assets as required to ascertain and address any operational issues and oversee asset performance.
  • Work with the leadership team to develop strategies for continued growth, improved operational efficiencies, and reinforce a customer service culture and a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
  • BA Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting; MBA, CPA or other  advanced degree/certification preferred.
  • Requires 15+ years Regional Property Management overseeing market rate multifamily/mixed-use portfolio of 5000 to 10000 units.
  • 5+  years prior experience as Property/Community Manager required.
  • 5+  years Construction start-up and lease up phase knowledge desired.
  • Requires 5+ years supervising and leading groups of people to include performance  management.
  • Must  have strong financial analysis skills and ability to interpret and explain accounting related topics and scenario.
