Title: Real Estate & Finance Analyst

Department: Acquisitions & Finance

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer/Director of Acquisitions

Function: The Analyst plays an integral role in the analysis of acquisitions, dispositions and financings. Additionally, the Analyst assists in providing financial reporting and analysis support related to an investment portfolio of more than 30 properties.

The Analyst is responsible for assisting with the preparation and tracking of financial data; ad-hoc modeling; and developing content for use in internal and external presentations, investor reports, media publications and company disclosure documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer ongoing and ad-hoc analyses and the preparation of various reports and models.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide written findings as needed.
  • Assist in preparing internal and external presentations.
  • Assist with due diligence for internal and external parties with respect to shopping center, self-storage, and light industrial acquisitions, dispositions, developments, and financings.
  • Function as the liaison with various groups across the business to collect and organize relevant information. This includes, but is not limited to, inquiring with real estate professionals as to the pricing, availability, and zoning of properties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Proven financial modeling background and desire to grow in this area.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player or independently, in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing projects to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen interest in commercial real estate.

Education:

  • Bachelor s Degree, with concentration in finance, economics, accounting or related area is preferred.

Experience:

  • Job experience within the commercial real estate industry is preferred.
  • Experience with Argus software is desired.
