Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide analytical support to acquisitions and asset management teams by developing and maintaining proforma financial models which take into account past operating history of properties while also incorporating current and future operating and market projections
  • Articulate and defend assumptions to the team in a concise and thorough manner
  • Participate in the initial screening of investments to determine fit with the Company’s investment objectives
  • Prepare weekly reporting materials for internal meetings
  • Maintain Power BI database with external vendor
  • Coordination and review of due diligence materials and tracking of checklists during acquisitions and dispositions
  • Prepare materials (financial and narrative) for periodic and quarterly asset management meetings with investors
  • Research, analyze and evaluate market feasibility for acquisition and development opportunities using demographic data and industry platforms (i.e. NICmap)
  • Other financial and asset management tasks as requested

Experience and Requirements:

  • 2-3 years prior work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university required, emphasis on finance and accounting with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills (please submit a cover letter)
  • Deep knowledge of excel and office suite in general (Power BI a plus)
  • Financial modeling experience
