The Contract & Supplier Diversity Manager’s primary responsibility will be to review, track, and monitor property-level service contracts for accuracy and scope of work, coordinate execution and record-keeping, and will collaborate with Asset Management, Accounting, and Legal teams to ensure vendors and suppliers provide quality service representative of Physician Realty Trust’s commitment to best-in-class customer service for our hospital and physician partners.

The Contract & Supplier Diversity Manager manages the term and termination of property contracts, analyzes contract and financial terms, develops recommendations to maximize property efficiency, and champions the development and advancement of a national supplier diversity program.

Additionally this position will play an integral role in building and growing a supplier diversity program and will collaborate with our DE&I Counsel to ensure our supplier diversity objectives are met and local minority, women, LGBTQ, disabled, and veteran owned businesses are connected to opportunities with Physicians Realty Trust.

What You'll Do:

  • Govern the contract life cycle to ensure contracts are efficiently managed and accounted for in order to provide best-in-class customer service to our hospital and physician partners
  • Act as the primary advocate for vendor and supplier diversity within the organization and build relationships internally and externally to educate and facilitate achievement of vendor and supplier diversity goals
  • Draft, review, and coordinate Request for Proposal documents for new vendors and renewal of existing vendor and supplier contracts throughout the year
  • Prepare, manage and coordinate execution of various types of contracts and project documentation in a timely manner
  • Optimize supply and vendor contract pricing and performance through consolidation
  • Track contract documents through the review and approval workflow including working with Legal on any contract negotiations
  • Maintain a tracker and audit file through life of each contract
  • Collect, vet and store supporting documentation
  • Set up and maintain approved vendors and contracts in cloud-based IT and accounting systems
  • Proactively seek and lead innovative ways to improve the procurement process, contract cycle times, and customer service delivery levels
  • Train and mentor team members, Facility Management Partners, vendors, and suppliers with utilization of contract terms and conditions for maximum effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop risk management strategies and procedures that mitigate losses in the event of low performing vendors and suppliers
  • Develop and implement ways to measure suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement on behalf of DOC
  • Manage critical dates and the flow of information to all team members and outside vendors and suppliers
  • Analyze expense trends and provide recommendations to improve cost savings and enhance partnerships with diverse vendors and suppliers
  • Research new vendors and suppliers to create a vendor library based on trusted referrals, sources, or experience
What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or another related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in related fields such as: procurement/supply chain, business, analytics, accounting, administration, or property management.
  • Experience understanding process flow and suggest improvements to deliver cost savings, inventory reduction, or other benefits to the site.
  • Supplier/ vendor relationship management experience preferred
