Chief Accounting Officer

We are seeking a Chief Accounting Officer to join our leadership team!

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing financial reporting and certain corporate finance functions
• Ensuring accurate and timely consolidated entity level monthly, quarterly, and yearend reporting
• Managing certain daily corporate accounting functions, including oversight of Australia entity accounting operations
• Oversight of Australian subsidiary financial reporting
• Overseeing loan compliance and reporting
• Establishing, maintaining and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinating property fair value analysis
• Managing internal audit function and coordinating annual audit procedures
• Coordinating U.S. tax return preparation and K-1 origination procedures

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years experience with accounting/financial reporting and compliance, with 3-5 years in a controller/assistant controller role
• International accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
• Advanced skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Experience with fair value real estate and/or fund accounting preferred with strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting framework
• CPA preferred
• Consultative and strategic with strong communication skills
