We are hiring an Analyst or Associate to work at a real estate investment and development firm.
Our lending platform invests discretionary capital through a joint venture with a $700+ million fund. Our company has also completed a dozen condominium development projects as sponsors as well as assembled hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial properties.
The focus of the position will be in our lending business which seeks to make construction loans, condo inventory loans and mezzanine loans in NYC and areas within a two-hour drive of NYC. We're primarily targeting residential assets.
Responsibilities will include:
A. sourcing deals by calling local mortgage brokers and borrowers
B. analyzing and underwriting deals
C. financial modeling and due diligence
D. drafting letters of intent (LOIs)
E. helping to process loans through closing
F. some asset management post-closing
Here's where we say "compensation is commensurate with experience", yada, yada.
We have an office in Flatiron with tons of space but haven't yet determined what percent of the time the job will be in the office vs remote and it may change with the fluctuations of the covid infection rates.
