Executive Director of Property Management

Aligned Ventures, a direct investment multifamily firm, is seeking an Executive Director of Property Management to work alongside the firm’s principal who is in the process of deploying $15MM of equity capital (approximately $37.5MM in real estate). The Executive Director of Property Management will have strategic and operational responsibility including leading property management functions and supporting acquisitions and the growth of our growing team as we continue to deploy capital after this current tranche. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping to shape and build out this business. You can expect to actively contribute in the following ways:

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Principal with recruitment and training of property management, acquisition and corporate operations direct hires
• Manage and cultivate existing relationships with key strategic partners including Brokers, Lenders, Contractors and all others involved in property operations and acquisitions
• Lead efforts to develop and execute on our growth plan, working closely with the key Principal
• Identify and recommend investment opportunities and support the deal life cycle from origination through closing
• Lead the annual budget, business planning, and reforecasting process for each asset

• Does not necessarily need to have all the experience required to perform acquisitions; we will train the right person

Qualifications/ Required Skills:

• Currently lives in TX (position not open to relocations)
• BS/BA in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of direct property management
• Willing to travel 30% of the year as needed
• Willing to spend two weeks in Principal’s city of residence for onboarding
