SUMMARY

You will be part of a Scrum team as a part of scaled, globally distributed Agile teams and will have the opportunity to be hands-on with various technologies. WHAT WE DO


Build cloud native applications utilizing Open source and Microsoft technologies across multiple cloud platforms.


Build quality within the lifecycle of the product by adopting shift-left principles and automating testing across the delivery pipeline


Execute projects on Agile best practices and embrace the Devops culture across the software delivery lifecycle


Design and implement new features/applications based on industry standards.


Create modern, responsive web applications to provide real-estate services to our internal and external clients.


Develop and distribute Mobile apps built on native or react native architecture for both iOS and Android platforms.


Implement Continuous Security, Integration, Deployment, Validation & Monitoring for the software products


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Develop, maintain, enhance, and execute test strategies, automation test scripts for UI based applications, API Interfaces and Mobile apps.


Drive continuous improvements to software quality and related metrics by adopting innovative test methodologies and automation frameworks.


Manage test data across different environments and use cases for driving repeatable testing processes.


Integrate with the continuous integration process for driving the continuous validation process on every code checkin.


Design and manage ephemeral test environments for scheduled and on-demand testing requirements.


Work with the development team to drive improvements around testability of the software.


Play an active part in the scrum team for feature and release validations.


Be the face of the product for external teams and exhibit the mastery in the produce features and the design principles.


TECHNICAL SKILLS


3-5 years of experience as Quality Engineer driving improvements in the software quality with automation


Experience with automation frameworks like Appium, Katalon, Saucelabs


Expertise in Selenium based UI Test automation and REST API test automation using tools like SoapUI, postman etc...


Solid understanding of the UI frameworks like Angular, React as well as mobile application frameworks.


Ability to actively interface with databases both SQL (Postgresql / SQL Server) and NoSQL (Mongodb/Elastic)


Ability to grasp application architecture and workflows and align the test cases accordingly


Complete understanding of Test lifecycle and the different phases/milestones like feature testing vs regression testing vs smoke testing


Good understanding of different development frameworks like Spring Boot, .NET


Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and managing the test environments in cloud

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development cycles.


Bonus/Nice to have:


Experience with Azure Devops
Ability to integrate code validation tools like Sonarqube and security testing tools using whitesource, x-ray etc...

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as information systems, mathematics, or
computer science or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in
multiple disciplines/processes. Typically has 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Consideration
given to equivalent combination of education and experience.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS


Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively
present information.


REASONING ABILITY


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems
involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
